Clay County Soccer Club and Gainesville Soccer Alliance Form Key Strategic Partnership
Jacksonville, April 5 2021: Clay County Soccer Club and the Gainesville Soccer Alliance (GSA) are proud to announce a groundbreaking new strategic partnership designed to elevate girls competitive soccer in the area. Effective immediately, both clubs will work together through the United Soccer Alliance to represent Northern Florida in the Developmental Premier League (DPL).
From Executive Director of Clay County Soccer, Matt Hollyoak: “We are very excited to work with the Gainesville Soccer Alliance under the United Soccer Alliance umbrella. Having worked with Jeremy and all of the folks at GSA for many years, I am confident that we can continue to collaborate to further enhance youth soccer in our area.”
From Gainesville Soccer Alliance Competitive Director, Jeremy Witt: “This is a momentous day for GSA. Being able to play in the DPL and offer our teams and players elite level competition and exposure will elevate our girls program tremendously. This partnership allows us to do this, while still keeping our teams intact representing the Gainesville Soccer Alliance. We can’t thank Matt, Clay County Soccer and the United Soccer Alliance enough for the opportunity.”

About the Gainesville Soccer Alliance: Founded in 1996. GSA’s primary purpose is to promote health, integrity, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship to youth players in the Greater Gainesville area through the beautiful game of soccer. The area’s largest soccer club, GSA provides both recreational and competitive soccer programs for athletes ranging from elite level to beginner. Programs are available for both boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18.
